Designed for creative professionals working from home, this small-scale project combined a ladder-shelf desk — engineered to extract maximum functionality from minimum square meters — with warm-toned lighting and wall typography. Two character variations were offered: an exposed-brick setting and a deep-green accent wall version. In this way, the product moved beyond being a single SKU to become a lifestyle accessory that positions itself around the user's personality. The ladder-shelf desk was designed to work together with a vertical two-tier shelving-and-wall combination: books and plants sit on the upper deck, lighting sits at the middle height, and an ergonomic work surface occupies the lower level. A 1.4-metre-wide wall is therefore transformed simultaneously into a bookshelf, a lighting wall and a fully equipped workstation. Clean lines, a shallow 40 cm depth suited to small apartments, and open compartments that invite the user to introduce their own books and décor helped the product integrate naturally into daily domestic life. On the character layer, the same furniture was photographed under two distinct lookbooks: an exposed-brick texture with terracotta cushions reading as vintage/industrial, and a deep-green accent wall with brass lighting reading as timeless/studio-editor. The marketing team positioned this second layer on the product page as a "pick your character" step, turning the SKU into a content opportunity about how the user brands their own home. The outcome: a small home-office fixture delivered both a functional workspace and a photogenic lifestyle set for creative professionals living in compact apartments — during the initial launch window, the project measurably raised average basket value and session time within its category.
